The vineyard is located on a steep, southwest-facing slope with good sunlight and drainage, consisting of a mineral-rich soil mixed with clay and gravel. Benefiting from the cold winds of “Sasago Oroshi” from Mount Fuji, the grapes retain a firm acidity that contributes to the wine’s aging potential. It offers a rich, concentrated sweetness of ripe fruits with a backbone of acidity, leading to a mineral finish that tightens the flavor profile.
